STRING FEVER STUDIO
Strring Fever have expanded their services into sound/music Studio Services. Creation of backing tracks (MIDI based, but using real and virtual sounds). Also the Virtual String Orchestra adds a touch of class to your backing tracks or recording at an exceptional price. All recording services, including recording of vocals, instruments, sound effects are available at the studio. Composition of tracks, composition of incidental music for film and TV. Original arrangements and new arrangements for bands, solos, cabaret acts, etc.
All sound and music recording is performed using Rhode Mics, Mac "Logic Pro". Music recording services are available for CDs,tapes, DAT, and all formats. Music editing, music mixing, music mastering also available.
Hard drive digital recordings are created using the best possible original recordings with studio quality sounds and synthesisers. Both backing tracks and full CDs will be created in this way. International modern cabaret duo, String Fever, have recently made the move from Sydney to Melbourne. They will no longer be performing their multi MO and ACE award winning show onboard luxury cruise ships but will be providing entertainment for corporate events, private parties, weddings, conferences, special events around Australia. From their new base in Melbourne it's a quick trip to Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane and the Gold Coast. String Fever are yet to entertain at any corporate events in Perth - the world's most isolated city - but look forward to the opportunity in the near future!

String Fever have recently been listed with Australia's number one Corporate Entertainment Bureau, ICMI (www.icmi.com.au). String Fever are a modern cabaret duo who have won numerous MO and ACE awards for their unique brand of entertainment. Although they've spent most of the past eight years providing live entertainment to the cruise ship market internationally, they are now ready to settle back in Australia. From their new base in Melbourne, they plan to travel all around Australia - Sydney, Adelaide, Hobart, Brisbane the Gold Coast, Darwin and Perth - and everywhere in between.
String Fever comprises Brenton and Jacqueline (Jacqui) Edgecombe - originally from Adelaide, and now living in Melbourne via Sydney! They believe that corporate entertainment and entertainment for private parties, weddings, and special events is the way to go in Australia, due to our small population compared with America or Europe.

Although a unique modern cabaret duo like String Fever doesn't lend itself to the inclusion of a songlist - like say a band or string quartet or other musical groups - the following will give some clues as to the repertoire that this duo can provide for corporate events, private parties, weddings, and other events. String Fever also have a full two hour theatre show
String Fever's show is based on music, movement and comedy. The pair - Jacqueline (Jacqui) and Brenton Edgecombe play electric violin, electric cello, piano and they sing. All to professionally produced musical backing tracks.
String Fever will perform anything that's possible with violin and cello - and even things considered impossible on these classically branded musical instruments. Its String Fever's aim to use music as their tool to entertain. Here's an overview of the types of music currently in their repertoire:
Irish Music (including the music from Riverdance), an entertaining segment based on Dueling Banjos, Country Music, Bluegrass music, Fiddle music, new arrangements of classical music, gypsy music, Music from Broadway shows and other live entertainment spectaculars, Specially produced music tailored for each special event, corporate event, wedding etc, Australian music including a unique version of Waltzing Matilda Brenton is also an accomplished Elton John impersonator, so String Fever's show will usually include an Elton John tribute.
Amongst their most requested musical arrangements are The Devil Went Down To Georgia, Flight of the Bumblebee, Riverdance, Fiddler on the Roof, Dueling Banjos, Elton John tunes such as Candle in the Wind, Crocodile Rock.

Although relatively new to the world of corporate entertainment, String Fever are far from new to entertainment in general. They have won the following live entertainment awards within Australia:

They have also been nominated for four Brisbane based entertainment awards, due to their frequent travel to perform at private and corporate events and in clubs, casinos and other venues in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast.
String Fever @ RACV - February 28th for the Lady Mayoress' Charity Committee Luncheon
String Fever entertained at a charity luncheon for the Lady Mayoress of Melbourne (Wendy Cheng) and her special committee. It was a very special day for the unique entertainers, being their first performance in their new home city of Melbourne, Australia. The luncheon was held at the prestigious "Level 17" function room at the new RACV building on Collins Street, Melbourne. This venue is fast becoming a central destination for corporate events and all types of special functions where entertainment is a must.
The lunch was a huge success, and String Fever were approached by many guests to provide live entertainment at events, weddings, and corporate and private functions from Sydney to Melbourne and all over Australia. Since corporate entertainment is their new "gig" they were very happy for this fantastic exposure. They also don't mind a bit of Australian travel - flights to Sydney, Adelaide, Hobart, Darwin, Brisbane, the Gold Coast from Melbourne are nothing compared to their years of international travel as specialist cruise ship entertainers. |
